Police said he was “safe and well”.

A spokesperson for Gloucester Police said he had been classed as a ‘high risk’ missing person due his ‘vulnerable’ state.

Police said they made various enquiries to trace Mr Burnell, including carrying out telephone and bank enquiries.

It is understood police managed to locate him following sightings of his vehicle.

It is the second time Mr Burnell has been reported missing in the last six months. In November, he was reported missed after he failed to show up to work.

His next of kin were informed of his whereabouts and it is believed he has since returned to his Gloucester home.
