ALISTAIR PRADES has successfully defended his under-16 Welsh Open title.

Despite facing some strong table tennis and tennis players, Alistair's badminton and squash, and improving table tennis, were good enough for him to win the championship in Cardiff for the second year.
Alistair, from Shebbear, also finished third in the men's A doubles with his partner from France, losing to the eventual champions.
