Attwoods in medal haul
SHOOTING
KIRSTIE-ANNE and Craig Attwood won nine medals between them at the 18th Junior International Shooting Match at Bisley, in Surrey.
It is the third time the brother and sister from Braunton Target Club have taken part in the competition.
They were shooting for England against Northern Ireland, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, South Africa, Denmark and Germany.
Craig won three team medals, golds in 3x40 50m .22 and prone 50m .22, and a bronze in air rifle.
Individually, a personal best score of 1,115 in an exciting 3x40 50m .22 final earned him silver. He was also a close second in the prone 50m .22 event.
Kirstie's personal best of 556 in the 3x20 50m .22 final won her a bronze medal.
She won a team gold in the air rifle match and bronzes in the 3x20 50m .22 and prone 50m .22.
