Balman kicks prove decisive for South Molton
SOUTH Molton climbed back up to third place in the Devon One table at the expense of New Cross following their 16-15 victory.
The visitors were 5-3 down at the break as New Cross' Adam Taylor scored a try after George Balman had kicked a penalty for the Molts.

The tide turned in favour of the hosts in the second half as Balman converted a try from Aidan Irving and also kicked two penalties.
However, Ryan Wotton slotted a penalty for the Kingsteignton-based outfit and also added the extras to a try by Tom Havill.

South Molton hung on for the victory and that will have given them a lift for this weekend's trip to Plymstock Albion Oaks.
That match pits second against third, with the winners set to be in the play-off place behind the University of Exeter going into the festive break before the league resumes on January 19.
