The entertainment kicks off in The Square at 4pm with Braunton singer songwriter Steve Ley.
He will be followed by The Brakes Collective and Friends, who will perform a number of Christmas songs, with guest performances by other local musicians.
Semi-Toned, a unique ten-piece a cappella group, will then provide some entertaining re-mixes using just their voices. The members from this all-male group met at Exeter University and reinterpret classic rock and pop songs in their own unique and fun style, adding harmonies, raps and entertaining noises.
Mama Stone's House Band, featuring soulful Leigh Coleman, will then perform a number of songs before the official lights switch on.
There is more fun to be had after the grand lights switch on.
Samba Sol will lead the crowd from The Square to the High Street. And in the pannier market there will be funky pop covers from iFunk (the band have written and recorded the music for Barnstaple's TV advert).
Plus, there will be food from Monty Carribean Kitchen, The Lush Hot Dog Stall, as well as roasted chestnuts and children's rides.
