Barnstaple Colts unable to take chances in Okehampton defeat
BARNSTAPLE COLTS had the lion's share of possession and territory but could not finish their opportunities as they lost 15-3 at Okehampton.
The pack put in a good performance, outmuscling their counterparts in the loose, with Ashlee Crouch, man of the match Quinten John, Danny Giblett, Ollie Sanders and Mathew Phillips all impressing.
Okehampton only got into Barnstaple's 22 on a few occasions in the first half but scored twice to lead 12-0 at the break.
Iwan Williams caused havoc on the left wing and nearly scored a couple of times in the second half but Barum had to settle for a Calum Sumners penalty.
