Barnstaple Town manager seeks to add experience to squad
BARNSTAPLE TOWN need to tighten up at the back ahead of a key fixture with Odd Down at Mill Road on Saturday.
While they have hit four goals in the last two games, Barnstaple have shipped ten at the other end in the Toolstation Western League.

And manager Tom Bulley is determined to add some experienced players to his squad.
"Hopefully there might be a couple more defenders in for the game on Saturday," he said. "We have got a lot of midfielders and forwards. That's not really my concern. Defensively, we have got to tighten up.

"We are looking for that bit of experience and maybe a bit of quality at the back. Once we have that in place, the wins will hopefully come week by week."
Town's position at the bottom of the premier division means every match between now and the end of the season will be vital.
After the encouraging performance in the 4-2 defeat to Ilfracombe Town, Barnstaple will remain positive against mid-table Odd Down.
"It's a game we are looking to win, especially after the performance against Ilfracombe when we felt a bit hard done by," said Bulley. "I know the Ilfracombe game was a big game but as far as I'm concerned all the games are as big as each other."
Bulley was only appointed manager in December and has gradually been shaping his squad with training twice every week.
He is certainly not short on numbers as the squad for the Ilfracombe game had to be trimmed from 24 to 16.
"The first month has been more like pre-season," he said. "I think I have used two or three formations since I have been there. Game by game, I am picking out the players I can work with."
Ilfracombe's home game against Willand Rovers was postponed on Saturday. Five of their last six home league fixtures have been called off.
