Barnstaple man Michael Enfield admits sex assaults, denies rape attempt
A man from Barnstaple has denied attempted rape but admitted sexual assaults on two women.
Michael Enfield was remanded in custody while the prosecution decide whether they will take the contested case to trial at Exeter Crown Court.

Enfield, 25, admitted four offences of sexual assaults. The offences are alleged to have taken place at his home on December 29, 2012, and near the Venue night club on February 17, 2013.
He denied a fifth charge of attempted rape and his case was adjourned by Judge Francis Gilbert, QC to allow the prosecution time to decide whether to accept his pleas or proceed to trial on the remaining charge.
