Two Barnstaple men charged with theft of mobility scooter

Two men have been charged with stealing a mobility scooter in Barnstaple.

Christopher Dart, 25, and Barry Dart, 51, both from Martin Road, Barnstaple, have been charged with theft of a motor vehicle.

Police managed to track down the men after officers found the mobility scooter in a parked van in the town centre.

It was taken from Bear Street sometime between midnight and 1.40am on Thursday.
