Barnstaple mistakes in Exmouth defeat infuriate Kevin Squire
Director of rugby Kevin Squire criticised his Barnstaple players for making individual mistakes in an "infuriating" defeat to Exmouth.
Barnstaple lost the National Three south west clash 34-18 on Saturday, having led 13-8 at half time.

Squire was furious that Barum were denied good attacking positions when Luke Berry, three times, and Will Topps, once, failed to find touch from penalty kicks. Both players found it difficult to keep their footing on the Pottington Road pitch.
"If they were in my under-13s team they would have been dropped for an awful display of kicking," said Squire. "It's just not good enough. If they want to kick in this team, they are going to have to work on it.

"Exmouth are a good side and they capitalised on our mistakes. That team are probably going to go up as champions, they are the best team in the league, and we were all over them in the first half. But we didn't get enough points for our advantage because of unforced errors.
"It's not a coaching issue, it's personal responsibility. It's not because of coaching that the ball is not being caught well or that kickers are missing the line, it's because players are making mistakes. It's infuriating."
Third-placed Exmouth scored five tries through Matt Garner, Garry Hooper, Dave Kimberley, Tom Kill and Bob Armstrong to strengthen their promotion bid.
For Barnstaple, who had tries from Tom Skelding and Toby Williamson, it was a fifth successive defeat. They return to action on Saturday, March 2, away to second-placed London Irish Wild Geese.
