Barnstaple road closed following two-vehicle crash
A road in Barnstaple is currently closed due to a crash involving two vehicles.
St George’s road is closed in both directions between the A39 Pilton Causeway junction and the Raleigh Meadow junction.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred just before 2pm.
At this stage, it is not known if anybody was injured in the collision.
Motorists are advised to approach the area with care.

“Wouldn't be the first time around here, check out the court listings each week and see how many drivers are being caught whilst disqualified. Throw the book at them. A short term in Jail would be a start.”

“I have inside sources that tell me that the police arrested a 23-year-old local man at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst disqualified.”
