Barnstaple's Ben Vellacott in Scotland European Under-18 Championship rugby squad
Barnstaple scrum half Ben Vellacott will be involved when Scotland kick off in rugby's European Under-18 Championship tomorrow.
Vellacott, 17, was part of a 26-man Scotland squad who travelled to Grenoble, France, yesterday.

They are playing in the elite division of the tournament – the Justin Bridou Championship – alongside England, Ireland, France, Wales, Italy, Georgia and Portugal.
Scotland take on Wales in Moirans tomorrow (5pm local time), with the winners going on to meet England or Portugal in the semi-finals.

The losers of the two matches will play for ranking position – Scotland finished fifth in last year's tournament.
Vellacott, from Mortehoe, qualifies for Scotland because his mother, Sandra, is Scottish.
As well as Barnstaple, he plays for Ivybridge Community College and the Exeter Chiefs Academy.
