Barnstaple v Ilfracombe football derby is postponed
THE BOXING DAY football derby between Barnstaple Town and Ilfracombe Town has been postponed.
An inspection this morning confirmed the pitch at Barnstaple's Mill Road ground was waterlogged.

DERBY CLASH: Action from last year's Boxing Day derby between Ilfracombe Town and Barnstaple Town. This year's fixture has been postponed.
The Toolstation Western League match will now be rearranged for later in the season and is likely to be played on a Tuesday night.
Barnstaple are due to be at home again on Saturday, with Larkhall Athletic the visitors. Ilfracombe go to Bristol Manor Farm.

Bideford's match at Frome Town in the Evo-Stik League Southern premier division is set to go ahead after a pitch inspection this morning.
Frome's Twitter account reported: "Game is ON! One area a bit wet so fingers crossed for a dry few hours! Spread the word and lets get a big crowd!"
The match will kick off at 3pm.
In the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League, Witheridge were due to visit Cullompton Rangers and Holsworthy should have been hosting Callington Town but both matches were called off on Christmas Eve.
