Beer and Mussel Festival at Rick Stein's Cornish pub
FOODIES might consider making a trip to Cornwall this weekend. Rick and Jill Stein's pub, The Cornish Arms, in St Merryn, is hosting its annual Beer And Mussel Festival.
Freshly cooked Cornish mussels will be in ready supply with recipes chosen to complement the beers such as Moules Marinière, La Mouclade and mussels with beer and bacon.

The festival weekend will open with a cookery demonstration by Rick's son Jack, at noon on Saturday.
The festival runs on Saturday, March 16, noon to 11pm and Sunday, March 17, noon to 4pm and will finish with a Charity Pub Quiz raising funds for Children's Hospice South West on Sunday at 5pm.
