Playing their best football for some time, Barry Paine's team stayed top on goal difference ahead of Bideford who won 5-0 at home to Putford.

The Robins eased clear thanks to Will Nicholls, with a hat-trick, Carl Holliman and a spectacular strike from Phil Kelly.

Third-placed Braunton had to work hard to overcome the challenge of local rivals Georgeham and Croyde.

Ross Maynard and Tom White put them 2-0 up before Dave Mason and a penalty from Scott Maynard sealed a 4-1 win.

Braunton were due to play twice over the weekend but today's home match against Boca Seniors was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Fremington have returned to the top of the senior division after smashing six goals past Bude Town.

Wayne Parkhouse scored a hat-trick, Mark Sanders converted two penalties and Matt Ford struck from the edge of the box for a 6-0 win.

Goals from Connor Nash and Tom Nash gave intermediate one leaders Barnstaple FC a 2-0 victory over Anchor Chiefs.

And Braunton closed the gap on Putford, the intermediate two front-runners, as Alan Woodcock scored twice in a 2-1 win.
