Bideford beat Barnstaple FC in Devon Women's League
BIDEFORD scored twice in the first half to earn a 2-1 home win over Barnstaple FC in the Devon Women's League.
The hosts, who had won the previous derby 6-0 at the beginning of the season, dominated from the kick-off.
They created chance after chance but nothing was converted and it needed a fine tackle by Nat Taylor to keep out Barnstaple.
Confusion in the visitors' box saw Caz Parsons score the opening goal for Bideford. Then Beth Ellis cut in from the right and hit an unstoppable shot to make it 2-0.

Bideford seemed to switch off in the second half and Barnstaple took advantage from a mix-up in defence. Sub Lois Collins thought she had tucked away a third for Bideford but it was ruled out for offside.
