Bideford beaten at Brixham Villa in Devon Women's League
MOLLY JONES scored the only goal as Barnstaple FC gained their first win in the Devon Women's League first division.
After a tough start to the season, having stepped up from girls' five-a-side football, Barnstaple battled for a 1-0 success at Seaton.
They head into Sunday's Devon Supplementary Cup clash against Budleigh Bicton Robins full of confidence.
Bideford were beaten 3-1 at Brixham Villa.

The home side took the lead with a penalty and made it 2-0 ten minutes before half time.
Bideford gave themselves hope at the break when they pulled a goal back.
Striker Beth Ellis saw her initial shot saved but from the rebound she rounded the keeper to tuck the ball into the net.
Bideford continued to struggle in the second half and Brixham added a third goal.
Ilfracombe Town lost 8-1 at LFC Sparta.
