Bideford win North Devon League Cup after Josh King century
MORE batting fireworks from Josh King led Bideford to cup success.
The 20-year-old struck 126 not out off just 55 balls as his side thrashed Heathcoat by 187 runs in the final of the Stayindevon.co.uk North Devon League Cup.
In 57 minutes of mayhem at Hatherleigh, King struck seven fours and cleared the boundary 12 times.
The terrific ton came three weeks after King hammered an unbeaten 111 off 48 balls in a Francis Clark Devon League match against Kingsbridge.

Sunday's innings came in a Bideford total of 320 for four off 45 overs.
King went to the crease at 139 for two after a stand of 117 between Mike Young (61) and James Ford.
King (pictured) put on 114 with opener Ford (91) and 59 with Will Barratt (16). They took a particularly heavy toll on Dylan Penberthy, who went for 65 runs off six overs, and Daniel Reed, 35 off three.
Fielding only ten men, Heathcoat were never likely to chase down such a stiff target and they finished at 133 for nine, Chris Luxton and Martin Stewart taking three wickets each.
It was a fine end to the season for Bideford who could not retain the first division title, finishing sixth with just two wins.
