The Greens have hit form ahead of their Cornwall Luke Cup quarter-final at Torpoint on Sunday.

Appledore under-10s extended their unbeaten record to five games with a 2-1 win over Fremington.

Poppy Cloke put them ahead after a determined run and Sami Gillett hit the second from the edge of the area.

An open second half saw both goalkeepers in fine form and although Fremington pulled a late goal back, Appledore held out.

Barnstaple Youth under-10s are looking for new players.

Training takes place at the Park Community School all-weather pitch on Saturdays from 10 to 11am. To find out more call manager Richard Sharples on 07861 298276.
