The Blues Band

RHS Garden Rosemoor, Torrington

Friday August 7, 8pm

IT'S blues beneath the branches in August when one of the UK's most skilled outfits plays at RHS Garden Rosemoor. Powerful and emotional lead vocals from Paul Jones and Dave Kelly will feature in an evening of authentic blues music in the garden's terrace marquee.

The Blues Band soon celebrate 30 years together — a celebration of three decades of great showmanship combined with rhythm and blues and roots music. They've played all around the world in venues ranging from intimate clubs through to civic halls and theatres, and have wowed festival audiences in many countries including headline appearances at Glastonbury. This is a chance to hear them in an intimate garden setting.

The band's extensive canon of recorded material includes a large catalogue of original songs as well as their own interpretations of songs from the genre's finest writers like Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf.

Tickets: £24 full/£20 concessions and RHS members/£18 plough supporters. Rosemoor's restaurant will be open for pre-performance suppers.
