After their toughest test of the season, the champions emerged with a 4-3 win over Pottington, moving 12 points clear at the top of the premier division.
Trailing 3-2 with 20 minutes to go, they sealed an eighth successive victory with late strikes from Lee Francis and Jack Jenkins.
Scott Sharp scored his 17th and 18th league goals of the season.
