Boy, 4, airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after crash on A3072 near Holsworthy
A four-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries after a car overturned on the A3072 between Bude and Holsworthy on Saturday.
The boy was a passenger in a blue Honda Jazz when it crashed at around 1.15pm between Weekstone Cross and Weekstone Cottage on the A3072 near Pancrasweek.
He suffered life-threatening head injuries and was airlifted to Derriford Hospital before being transferred to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
The driver of the vehicle, a woman aged 32, suffered serious back injuries and was flown to Derriford Hospital.

Both the boy and the woman are local to the Holsworthy area.
Another child was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash, but are not believed to have suffered serious injuries.
Fire crews from Holsworthy, Bude and Bodmin, a search and rescue helicopter from RMB Chivenor and the Cornwall Air Ambulance attended the scene of the serious crash.
Police and ambulance crews also attended and the police helicopter was also in the area at the time.
The fire service said the vehicle was on its roof when crews arrived at the scene and said two casualties had managed to free themselves from the vehicle while one remained trapped inside.
Firefighters used small tools to free the trapped casualty.
The boy was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by Cornwall Air Ambulance, while the injured woman was airlifted to Derriford by the Chivenor crew.
The child, who suffered life-threatening head injuries, was later transferred to the specialist Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
The road remained closed in both directions for several hours while an investigation into how the crash happened took place.
