Jordan Evans was brought down for a penalty, Bug Hall hit the bar and George King followed up to score the winner.

Braunton are at home again in the last four against Morley Rangers, of Plymouth, on March 3.

The trip to Marine Academy Plymouth proved too much for Ilfracombe Town in the Aquarius Devon Under-13 Cup. Facing a much bigger team, Combe were outmuscled in a 7-0 defeat.

It was a similar story in the Devon Under-14 Cup with Bideford Blues losing 7-1 to Marine Academy.

Tyler Gordon-Oke scored for Braunton under-10s in an excellent game at Bideford Blues in the West Country Cleaning Services North Devon Youth League. The division's top two teams shared a 1-1 draw.

Appledore came out on top in a hard-fought contest with Ilfracombe Town, winning 2-1.

Some determined defending meant the game was goalless at half time.

Appledore took the lead shortly after the break thanks to a close-range goal from Lloyd Flackman. Ilfracombe levelled from the penalty spot five minutes later, then Appledore had a penalty saved before Ewan Duhig scored a late winner.

Braunton Wanderers under-11s suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 3-2 at Torridgeside despite goals from Charlie Oldbury and Lewis Lowe.

Matthew Fay scored a hat-trick as Bideford under-16s netted five second-half goals in a 6-1 win at Braunton.

The home side took the lead as Bideford made a shaky start but, after Charlie Allman equalised from a free kick, they won the game with goals from Fay, Billy Parsons and Ryan James.
