Braunton firefighters tackle two cars on fire at Pickwell Manor in Georgeham
FIREFIGHTERS were called to Braunton this morning after reports of two cars on fire.
One engine from Braunton attended the incident which took place at Pickwell Manor, Georgeham at 10.43am.

The vehicles involved were a Volkswagen Transporter and a Volkswagen Terran.
A spokesman from Braunton Fire Station said the cause of the fire is unknown. He said: "By the time we got there both cars were well alight. The owners of the vehicles had already tried to extinguish the fire themselves."

Crews extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets and two firefighters wore breathing apparatus. Neither car could be salvaged.
