British Red Cross to offer First Aid training course in North Devon
THE British Red Cross is inviting people across North Devon to learn simple first aid skills at a training course this month.
The four-hour course, on Thursday, November 29 at the British Red Cross Centre in Barnstaple, covers common first aid scenarios including choking, unconsciousness or bleeding and responding to the needs of casualties with major injuries.
Peter Juniper, service manager in Devon, said: “This is an open course available to anybody and is an opportunity for people to learn some very simple first aid techniques.”
The course costs £30 and runs from 10am to 3pm.
