Bude Town bow out of Charity Cup
TWO goals from Dave Youlden were not enough for Bude Town against Wadebridge Town in the Durning Lawrence Cornwall Charity Cup.
Facing opponents from the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League, the Seasiders lost 5-2 in the quarter-final.
Bude Town reserves will play their Cornwall Junior Cup eastern division final against St Austell at Wadebridge on Tuesday, February 26.
Morwenstow went 4-0 down against Liskeard Athletic in the Cornish Guardian East Cornwall League and goals from Ben Purcell (two) and Sam Hockin could not prevent a 4-3 defeat.
