And Liam Sandercock set the Seasiders on their way with a stunning strike from just inside the opposition's half.
The defender was even too cool to celebrate after sending a dipping shot over Oliver Rigler and in off the crossbar from all of 40 yards.

From there it was all too easy for the visitors – despite including only five players from the team who have swept to the top of the East Cornwall Premier League premier division.
One of those, Adam Smith, had the home defence looking like they wished to be anywhere else but playing football on a Sunday afternoon.
Smith's pace took him clear for the first time in the 14th minute, only to be hauled down by goalkeeper Oliver Rigler who made amends by saving Josh Allen's penalty.
But Bude continued to pose a threat and Sandercock, who usually plays for Camelford in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League, settled them down with his goal of the season contender.
Smith burst clear to slot the second before half time and, after another surging run, set up Tommy Statton to toe-poke the third.
It might have been a different story had Joe Gillard not dragged an early chance wide for the Ammies when the game was goalless.
As the last line of defence, Rigler limited the damaged by tipping a lob from Smith over the bar and denying the striker with a fine save down low.
The Ammies had to gamble and Rigler, who usually plays outfield, was pushed up front for the last half an hour.
His replacement in goal was Barry Camp whose first task was to pick a venomous right-footed volley from Gary Hodgson out of the net.
Jack Wellington's fine pass sent Smith scampering clear to make it 5-0 and when Camp chopped down Smith, Statton showed Allen how it should be done, converting the Seasiders' second penalty.
Bude will expect a tougher task in the last eight with an away trip to the winners of Bradworthy and Braunton.
