Bude windsurfer Izzy Hamilton sixth in World Cup Series event
WINDSURFING
IZZY HAMILTON finished sixth in the women's RS:X class in round two of the ISAF Sailing World Cup Series in Miami.
Hamilton, 20, from Bude, travelled to Brazil this week where she will compete in the Brazilian National Championships and the RS:X World Windsurfing Championships, which start on February 28.
Hamilton, writing on her blog at bit.ly/WXaA9M, said: "I really enjoyed the racing and even won one of them, my first senior world tour regatta win."
