Busy night for Hatherleigh firemen after Winkleigh and Dolton fires
FIREMEN from Hatherleigh have been busy night overnight after being called to chimney fires in Winkleigh and Dolton.
The retained crew from Hatherleigh station were first called out at aounf 9.45pm last night after a chimney fire was reported at a property in Orchard Gate, Dolton.

The crew used chimney gear, a ladder and one hose reel to extinguishe the fire which was in the chimney of a woodburning stove.
And after returning home to their beds for some sleep the firemen found themselves in action again first thing this morning.
