A CAR ended up in a precarious position over a footpath in Torrington this morning (14-3).

Firefighters were called to the incident in Barley Grove car park, Castle Street, at around 8.30am.

A vehicle went over a bank into a dip and was hanging precariously over a footpath. All the occupants were outside and safe.

The car was 100 metres down the embankment and wedged on the footpath. The fire crews made the vehicle and the area safe.
