Celebrate Valentine's with 1930's-inspired event in Torrington
Couples searching for an alternative Valentine’s experience could enjoy a 1930s-style night at a charity centre in Devon.
The retro evening will be taking place in a cabaret-style basement setting at The Plough Arts Centre in Great Torrington.
Couples can enjoy cocktails, musical performances and a burlesque show from 7pm, while supporting the charity, which works to promote, maintain, improve, encourage and provide public education in the arts.
The evening will feature performances from Bristol-based band Moscow Drug Club which will provide a mix of acoustic django guitar, jazz accordion, double bass and vocals from Katya Gorrie.
This will be followed by burlesque performer Keda Breeze, who has previously worked with Dita Von Teese.
Tickets for the event which include a two-course meal are £30, £27 concessions and £25 for centre supporters.
