A HEADER from Ryan Chapple gave Barnstaple Town their first win in seven games in the Fresha Devon and Exeter League premier division.

After five draws in their last six, depleted Barum battled for a 1-0 win at Beer Albion.

Hatherleigh Town drew 3-3 for the second game running thanks to a cracking equaliser from Stuart Dymond against title-chasing Topsham Town.

Ryan Davies made it 1-1 but Hatherleigh trailed 3-1 until the last ten minutes when Morgan Reynolds and Dymond, with a 25-yard strike, brought them back.

Two goals from Matt Woodward and one for Dean Pidgeon led Morchard Bishop to a 3-2 win at bottom club Alphington.
