Chiefs closing in on the title
KELSEY CHIEFS look odds-on to take the North Devon Indoor League title in their first season.
While the Chiefs were enjoying an overwhelming, 82-run win over inconsistent Newton Tracey, all their challengers were losing.
Bishop's Nympton lost for the first time in seven games despite posting a commanding 124, led by the improving Jamie Palmer (40no) with the week's top score. Filleigh reached their target with two balls to spare.
Willows hit the highest team total of the season, 142, to easily beat bottom of the table Bratton Fleming.
The arrival of Rob Ayre seems to have kick-started North Molton. After he starred in last week's win over Newton Tracey, Ayre helped Molton to a resounding, five-wicket win against Raleigh.
