Chiefs seal league title
KELSEY CHIEFS secured the North Devon Indoor League title in some style.
They knocked up the highest total of the season, 155, against Hele Bay with Andy Paddison scoring 46.
Dave Cresswell (39) gave Hele an encouraging start but they fell 45 runs short.
Bishop's Nympton held second place with an easy win over bottom of the table Bratton Fleming.
Ollie Hunt (32no) was the mainstay of the Bratton innings but Nympton, led by the consistent Toby Lochead (27ret), had little trouble in reaching their target of 92.
Newton Tracey scraped past Raleigh's 92 with just one wicket left, Keith Jerrett making an invaluable 19 not out to see his team to victory.
Although Owen Lloyd (2-29 and 29no) enjoyed a fine all-round performance for Nomansland, he couldn't prevent a third successive victory for North Molton, by 16 runs.
