Fundraiser for Children's Hospice South West

The Elizabethan, Westward Ho!

Friday June 5, 8am

FREQUENCY, James Gang and Wendy May provide the entertainment at a fundraising gig for the Children's Hospice South West.

Headlining the event are four piece band Frequency who have been playing together for more than two years.

On paper their sound could be seen as a clash crossing boundaries between rock, indie, new-wave, punk and funk but their well crafted show, is said to captivate and take you on a journey.

They will play their own tracks alongside popular crowd pleasers from bands like Kings of Leon, Ramones, The Coral, Stereophonics and Wild Cherry.

The James Gang tend to cover classics from the 1980s, including tracks from The Clash and The Cure, with a few more recent numbers thrown in.

Wendy May, DJ for the North Devon Comedy Club and North Devon Soul, will keep the party moving with her mix of Northern soul and funk.

All entry money goes to the Children's Hospice South West.

Tickets: £5 available from Beats Workin', Barnstaple; On The Horizon, Bideford.
