Why Don't We All Live In An Igloo? Plough Arts Centre, Torrington Friday, March 5 to Saturday, March 27

BOLD, creative and imaginative — children's artwork can certainly be uplifting and inspiring. Here's a chance to see work from pupils within the Torrington learning community.

This year the Plough's schools' exhibition takes the theme Why Don't We All Live In An Igloo? Each school has showcased a range of self selected artwork providing a mixture of painting, drawing and 3D installations.

The project is based on dwellings throughout the world, taking the theme of 'homes' as a way to learn about and understand the differences and similarities of various cultures.

Artists Joy Elliott and Wendy Elford have worked with pupils in each school to create a collaborative book, wall hanging prints and a floor installation which highlight the diversity of homes throughout the world.

Details and opening hours: 01805 624624.
