CHIVENOR'S helicopter crew helped a three-day-old baby get to a London hospital.

RAF Chivenor's Search and Rescue helicopter picked the baby up from Truro in Cornwall at 2.40am on Saturday.

The crew then flew the child to London's Regent Park, which is the nearest possible helicopter landing spot to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The Chivenor crew got back from the call out at 7.40am on Saturday morning.
