Chulmleigh folk give it some welly for charity
RESIDENTS of all ages in Chulmleigh have been praised for their community spirit after raising more than £1,300 for the Children's Hospice South West (CHSW).
As part of the annual 'Wear Your Wellies Day' students at Chulmleigh Community College paid £1 to wear snazzy shoes to school on Friday, March 5.

WELLY DAY: Members of the Chulmleigh Friends of the Children's Hospice South West group collecting donations on Red Lion corner.
All together they raised more than £230.
Members of the Chulmleigh Friends of the CHSW also organised a coffee morning and soup lunch at the town hall.
Traders in the village put wellies on their counters for donations and bus company Turner's Tours placed a welly on the dashboard of each of their coaches.
