Combe Martin in line for a cash boost
Combe Martin is set to receive extra funding following a meeeting of North Devon Council's Executive this week.
The village will receive £13,000 to repair Combe Martin Parade which was closed for health and safety reasons. The money is in addition to the £20,000 of S106 money already allocated to the project. A further £30,000 to complete the work will be provided by Combe Martin Parish Council.

Local ward member for Combe Martin, Councillor Julia Clark, said: "I am pleased as punch that the district council has released 106 funds to Combe Martin Parish Council for use at the Parade area in the village. The money will be used wisely."
St Brannock's Church in Braunton will also received £2,520 to help extend the cemetery to provide more burial space.

Local ward member for Braunton, Councillor Derrick Spear, said: "I'm very pleased that this S106 public open spaces contribution will enable the extension of St Brannock's churchyard to be suitably fenced. I believe this is much needed by all the community in Braunton, regardless of their different beliefs."
