Concerned about police
I recently used the new 101 non emergency number to report a break in. I waited more than five minutes for a reply and on complaining was told this was normal and acceptable.
Maybe lower crime will result as no one will bother to report small incidents or people will revert to the 999 number. I feel concerned that this is the prevailing mindset of our police.
