Confident Appledore remain unbeaten in 2013
FOOTBALL
ANOTHER second-half show maintained Appledore's excellent form in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League.
All the goals came after the break as Seth Hodorowski scored twice and Sam Fishwick and Marc Clark wrapped up a 4-0 win at Axminster Town.
Six wins and a draw in the last seven games have seen the Fishermen rise to fifth in first division (east).

That run has included wins against Budleigh Salterton and Exeter Civil Service, where Appledore hit four and three goals in the second half respectively.
Fitness and a high-tempo game have helped a youthful line-up stay unbeaten in 2013.
Keith Shapland, the player-manager, said: "I do work hard on fitness in training. Players are getting to know each other's games a bit better now. We are playing with confidence at the moment and that's a massive thing."
In a tight first half, Appledore went closest to scoring when Danny Jenkins was denied by the keeper. Nick Glover drilled a shot just wide from the edge of the box.
They went ahead when Hodorowski took on his marker and fired into the corner.
Clark then ran at the defence and crossed for Fishwick to finish neatly with a volley.
It was 3-0 inside the hour as Hodorowski scored direct from a corner.
Clark capped another busy performance, tapping in the fourth after unselfish play from Jenkins.
"You know what you get with Danny," said Shapland. "He works so hard and so does Clarky.
"Their centre backs never got a minute's peace with those two running around."
