Bideford substitute Connor Clifford scored a 63rd-minute leveller as the Robins drew 1-1 with visiting Arlesey Town in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division.

Defender Danny Gordon fired the impressive play-offs chasing Blues ahead before Clifford restored parity.

The draw extends Bideford's unbeaten run to three matches and maintains their 15th spot in the Southern League top flight ahead of next Saturday's trip to St Albans City.

Mark Saunders' Tiverton Town edged back up to fifth in Division One South and West following a goalless home draw with Cinderford Town.

Draw specialists Tiverton – who have finished all square in five of their last six League matches – move back above promotion rivals Paulton Rovers and into the top five play-offs frame on goal difference.

Rovers lost 2-0 at home to leaders Hungerford Town, now eight points clear of second-placed Poole Town, who have six games in hand.

After an even first spell, Tiverton could have made more of their second-half dominance against Cinderford, with Lewis Tasker, Paul Kendall and man-of-the-match Kevin Hill all coming close to breaking the deadlock.

Tiverton are due to return to action at third-from-bottom Abingdon United tomorrow night, weather permitting.

The winter weather again affected the Toolstation Western League Saturday programme with Ilfracombe Town's Premier Division trip to Wells City washed out along with the Dorset derby between Bridport and Gillingham Town and the First Division clash between Cheddar and Keynsham.

However, Premier Division basement side Barnstaple Town claimed their third win of the season and their first in 20 games with a merited 1-0 success at fifth-from-bottom Radstock Town.

Barum narrowed the gap on second-from-bottom Wells to six points follow their success, via a winning second-half goal from midfielder Dan Hart.

Barnstaple's next League match is at home to Bitton next Saturday.

Willand Rovers beat Premier Division and Devon rivals Buckland Athletic 1-0 after extra time in the Les Phillips Cup thanks to a 117th-minute Steve Orchard winner.

Rovers – fourth from bottom – hit the woodwork on three occasions in normal time while Athletic's James Mudge crashed a volley off the post.

Brett Worbey scored a second-half penalty as Elmore won 2-0 at Roman Glass St George in the First Division.

Tiverton's Eagles had taken the lead when Gary McAuley's cross was deflected in.
