Holsworthy woman disgusted with dog mess on popular footpath
A PARENT is disgusted with the amount of dog excrement along a popular walking route in Holsworthy.
Crissy Baker, 26, was walking her son Alfie, with her sister Sam Parkin and her children Ellie and Aidan when she noticed dog mess smeared across the path. Crissy's niece stepped in a pile of dog mess as the family enjoyed a stroll along Derriton Viaduct.
She said: "Ellie is only three and got a bit upset, she didn't understand. The children want their freedom.
"We couldn't let them run off because there was too much mess. It was all along the bridge. I was disgusted."

Responsibility for tackling dog mess problems in the town lies with Torridge District Council. PC Andy Moakes said Holsworthy police team is working with the council in a bid to combat the issue.
He said: "Fines can be given to dog owners who fail to pick up after their animals. If you witness such an incident, then please contact the council."
David Morgan, Torridge District Council's environmental protection manager, said: "There are targeted fortnightly checks on foot in Holsworthy, concentrating on known problem areas around the viaduct and Bodmin Street."
