Croyde Players entertain with panto Jack And The Beanstalk
OH yes they do! Croyde Players continue to entertain with Jack And The Beanstalk. The panto stars 13-year-old Leonie Milton, who takes the title role. Leonie is joined in the fun, community show by her 16-year-old sister Esme who plays Jill.
Croyde Players always like to feature local children in their panto and this year there are ten children starring with the dancing choreographed by 19-year-old Martine Watkins, herself a star of many previous pantos.
Jack and the Beanstalk is Croyde's 11th successive annual panto and has been written by Helen Milton and Liz Greenway, who are also co-directing.
An ingenious set has been designed by Phil Goodenough from Croyde while Nick Kidwell has been working on some colourful and inventive back-drops. Costumes are being specially-made or adapted by Alina Forde.

The cast includes Tony Parker, (Dame Nellie Boot), Faith Davis (Mona), Ann Benham-Clark and David Hook. Rosemary Littlewood and Marjorie Field feature as the comedy duo, Spit and Polish while CowPat will be brought to life by two of the youngest members of the ensemble, George Raynor and Freedom Wall.
