DVLA staff to stage protest over job fears
Staff working at DVLA offices across the Westcountry will protest outside their offices tomorrow over fears 80 jobs will be axed.
The Public and Commercial Services union has organised demonstrations outside sites in Exeter, Truro and Bristol between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.

Shortly before Christmas it was announced that jobs at the 39 DVLA's local offices in England, Wales and Scotland could go, putting 1,200 jobs at risk.
Union chiefs say although a consultation exercise is ongoing and no final decision has been made, they suspect the Government has already made up its mind over the move.
