Davey treble confirms win
Shebbear United 4 Ilfracombe Town 0: James Vanstone got on the end of a training-ground move to head the opening goal and a hat-trick from Martin Davey confirmed a vital win for Shebbear.
It was ten-a-side midway through the first half when Jamie Sluggett, for the home side, and George Floyde, of Ilfracombe, were sent off following a clash.
Davey had a penalty saved by Rob Taylor but snapped up the rebound to double the lead and Vanstone created the third goal for the manager before half time.
After coming under pressure in the second half, Davey broke clear to add the fourth and move Shebbear up two places to 11th.

Dolton 0 Braunton 1: A controversial 'Hand of God' goal from Matt Hunnibell gave Braunton the points.
Dolton, with their best performance of the season, were denied when Jamie Matthews kept out Tom Robinson's shot with a full-stretch save.
Defender George Folland was in fine form for the hosts but they were beaten when Hunnibell got away with punching the ball into the net for a late winner.
Bradworthy 0 Torridgeside 4: Three goals in the first 30 minutes, from Rob Holland, Marc Bettiss and Jamie Bright, set Torridgeside up for a fine away win which moved them within two points of leaders Bideford.
Hopes of a fightback from Bradworthy were ended by a fourth strike from Kyle Paine early in the second half.
