Dog rescued after van and lorry collide

A SMALL dog has been rescued after a crash.

The dog was trapped inside a van after it collided with a flat bed lorry between Bridgerule and Pyworthy.

Fire fighters from Holsworthy and Hatherleigh were called to the scene just after 3pm on Friday.

The two fire crews helped release the dog and make the vehicles safe.

Nobody was injured in the accident.
