Although many crops are pretty easy to grow, it can be a little daunting if you have never grown vegetables before. Here you will be able to get advice on selecting the best crops for your garden and your taste buds. Growing tips will be available from local horticultural expert David Loder. There will also be fun and games and competitions for the family.

"Vegetable growing is very rewarding and with a wide range of attractive planters designed specifically for growing edible crops now available, even the smallest back gardens can be turned into productive space," said Eggesford director Derrick Dyer.
