NORTH DEVON players Emerson Styles and Lewie Parker are county champions.

Emerson won the under-14 boys singles at the Devon County Junior Championships, beating Robert Leck, the No 1 seed from Exeter, 6-1, 6-2 in the final.

Lewie partnered Oliver Tyrrell, of Torquay, to win the under-14 boys doubles.

Sunny Parker was named the most-improved player at the tournament after she impressed against players ranked much higher than herself.

There were consolation final wins for Max Kilham (under-12 boys), Jemma Sloman (under-14 girls) and Lydia Huxtable (under-16 girls).
