Exhibition captures the beauty of bugs and insects at Barnstaple Museum
THE BEAUTY and fascination of Devon's insects, captured by outstanding wildlife photographers, feature in an exhibition at the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon.
This exhibition focuses on four topics: flight (the insects' outstanding achievement), colour and pattern (and how insects use them), behaviour (with some intriguingly complex examples) and Devon's special species.
The exhibition is one of a programme of more than 20 special county-wide events celebrating the Devonshire Association's 150th anniversary.
Strange Neighbours is at the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon until Saturday, April 20. Admission is free. The museum is open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday. Details: 01271 346747.
